Mosta FC Youth Nursery was founded in season 1988/89 by Architect Ludovico Micallef (now Vice President of the Malta FA) and Mr. Norman Saliba, who at the time was secretary to the Mosta Football Club.

Since its beginning the Mosta Nursey had an excellent set-up and was always professionally managed. It always fielded strong teams, especially in the under 16 and under 18 years categories.

Recently Mosta Youth Nursery was put in Region 6, representing the North of Malta with Attard, Mellieha, Mgarr, Naxxar and Sirens. This region may be considered as the largst geographical area of the Island.

Mosta, one of the fastest growing towns in Malta has the largest Nursery in the Region. This year the Academy/ Nursery scheme has been introduced, the stress being teaching the young players to be ambitious in football.The number of boys and girls attending has gone up to nearly three hundred.

There is a good number of talented youngsters amongst its ranks and the managing committee is striving hard to attract more boys and girls to learn and practise the game. Very competent qualified coaches for each age group together with assistant coaches create varied and effective training sessions.
